Charlie Brooks teases in vintage lace mask

She's known for her feisty on-screen character Janine Butcher in EastEnders, but Charlie Brooks showed off a raunchier side on Thursday night, as she donned a lace face mask for a night out on the town.
The actress - who was spotted heading to the infamous Hippodrome Casino for a burlesque themed night with pals - ensured she stood out from the crowd with the vintage mask, by luxury underwear designers Holloway Smith Noir, resting on her forehead, obviously making an effort for her burlesque-themed night.
Uncharacteristically shy though, the 32-year-old hid from awaiting photographers, shielding her face from the flashes as she made her way into the venue on the arm of a smartly-dressed man.

Although the married actress' choice of head wear was appropriate for the evening ahead, the trio had enjoyed a number of drinks at the Groucho club beforehand, where Charlie's accessory could have looked out of place.
The star kept the rest of her look pretty casual in a pair of aqua-coloured jeans and brown brogues.
She completed her look with a silk black shirt and leather jacket.

Joining Charlie and her male friend was Amy Winehouse's ex Reg Travis - who donned his usual 1940's attire.
Looking dapper he teamed his smart black suit with a beige trench coat and his trademark slick back hair.
The burlesque themed night included a performance from famous burlesque star Miss Polly Rae.

Charlie recently played down reports that she is planning to leave hit BBC soap EastEnders after friends revealed she was going to make a move over to the US.
A source told The Sun: "Charlie wants to give a LA a try and won't be satisfied until she does. As far as she understands, there will be an option to return. Janine is a ratings winner, and she's hugely regarded among the cast and crew."
But the star admitted that she was happy with her role at the moment:
'I've only just returned to EastEnders and I'm really happy. I've got some big storylines coming up and am really excited by them.'

However, she has made no secret of her desire to explore other opportunities in the long term.
She said last month: 'I'll know when the time's right for Janine to go, and there is loads of other acting stuff I'd like to do. I'd also like to have the experience of living in another country.'
Brooks has been playing Janine on and off since 1999.
