Denise Fox of the Fox Family

Denise Fox

Urban legend has it that Denise Fox was the inspiration for Destiny's Child's Survivor, and we see no need to dispute that. Cross her at your peril, because she's a born fighter.

First appearance: 11th May 2006
Address: 18-20 Albert Square (Kim's Palace)
Occupation: Minute Mart co-owner and manager
Denise has been let down by man after man – her father deserted her, Chelsea's dad Lucas chose drugs over her, and Libby's dad Owen was drunk and abusive, causing her to flee with her girls.
Life's what you make it.Denise Fox
  • Likes: Old classic films, including the French ones
  • Dislikes: The Jam band
  • Hobbies: Used to work out on an exercise bike when she was sexually frustrated
  • Music tastes: Dance music - her favourites are Leftfield and Faithless
  • Star sign: Aquarius
Kevin Wicks worked tirelessly to break down her guard, but was tragically killed. Although she never quite gives up on the men in her life, (and her brief stint as a cougar with Fatboy is testament to that) it's her girls that are Denise's primary focus. Cross her girls and feel her wrath. But alas, they have flown the nest with Chelsea leaving for sunnier climes & Libby heading off to university… she always was the brainier of the two.
But life is not without its drama as there’s always Denise’s sister, Kim, to liven the place up. Their relationship was nearly ruined when Kim found out that her man, Ray, had made a pass at Denise. But sisterhood prevailed and they’re now joined at the hip (a little too much for Denise’s liking) living together in Kim’s Palace.
A nod must also be made to Denise's collection of high-heeled boots, which is the most impressive in Walford. Foot and tendon pain caused by her vertiginous footwear may, in part, account for her hot temper.
Who knows how different Denise's life would have been if she wore a nice comfy pair of moccasins?
